KERDI is what actually keeps water out of your shower walls. Cement board alone is not waterproof — it's moisture-resistant at best. KERDI bonds directly to the substrate with thin-set and creates a continuous waterproof barrier behind your tile.

• Modified polyethylene (PEVA) core with non-woven polypropylene fleece on both sides — the fleece anchors into thin-set mortar, bonding the membrane directly to cement board, drywall, or KERDI-BOARD
• 33" wide rolls in multiple lengths — covers shower walls, tub surrounds, and any wet-area surface that needs waterproofing before tiling
• Also functions as a vapour retarder — prevents moisture migration into the wall cavity while still allowing the assembly to handle incidental vapour

Pro tip: Overlap seams by at least 2" and seal with KERDI-BAND. Don't use silicone or caulk between membrane sections — thin-set and KERDI-BAND is the only correct method.
