DITRA-PS is the peel-and-stick version of Schluter's original DITRA uncoupling membrane — same four core functions (uncoupling, waterproofing, vapor management, load distribution), but without the thin-set mortar step on the underside. You peel the release liner, press it onto a clean substrate, roll it flat, and you're ready to tile. On a typical bathroom job, that saves 30–45 minutes and eliminates an entire bag of mortar.

The 110 SF roll (3'2-3/4" × 34'3/4") covers most standard bathrooms and small-to-medium rooms in a single roll. Cut it with a utility knife right on the floor — the membrane scores and snaps cleanly along the woven polyethylene structure.

Why peel & stick instead of standard DITRA?

Standard DITRA bonds to the substrate with thin-set mortar. That works perfectly, but it means mixing mortar, troweling it, and waiting for it to cure before moving on. DITRA-PS eliminates that step with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) on the back. You're tiling the same day you lay the membrane — which matters a lot on tight-schedule renovations.

Substrate compatibility

• Concrete — clean, cured, and flat
• Plywood (min 5/8" exterior-grade or Advantech)
• OSB — works, but use PRIMER-PS first for best adhesion
• Existing vinyl, ceramic tile, and terrazzo — yes, directly over them
• Gypsum concrete — use PRIMER-PS first

Installation notes

• Substrate must be clean, dry, and flat — no dust, paint, adhesive residue, or curing compounds
• Apply fleece/adhesive side down, then roll firmly with a DITRA-ROLLER or float
• Butt sheets tightly — do NOT overlap
• For difficult substrates (OSB, gypsum concrete, vinyl), apply PRIMER-PS first and let it dry
• Store between 41–86°F (5–30°C) — the PSA is temperature-sensitive
• Avoid prolonged UV exposure during storage
