The KERDI-BOARD-ZT tab washer is the piece that makes KERDI-BOARD installation practical. Galvanized steel with small tabs that penetrate the panel surface when pressed, holding the washer in position while you drive the corresponding screw. No fumbling, no dropped hardware, no extra hands needed.

Works with both wood stud framing (using KERDI-BOARD-ZS coarse thread screws) and metal stud framing (using fine thread screws). The galvanized finish handles long-term exposure to shower humidity without corroding.

Pro Tip: Order these as a set with the screws (Schluter sells combined screw + washer sets in 40 and 100 piece counts) unless you specifically need washers only — the sets are better value. When you're setting these at 12" o.c. spacing on a shower wall, you'll go through more than you think. Do a quick count of your panel area before ordering: 1 washer per fastener location, 1 per square foot of panel as a rough guide. Better to have spares than be 10 short with tile ready to go.
