The T-bar applicator is the preferred tool for applying floor finish, sealer, and top coats on hardwood and resilient flooring. The foam pad distributes product evenly across a wide path with minimal effort, and avoids the lap marks and uneven application that brush or roller methods produce.

This is the refill foam pad for 18" T-bar applicator handles. When the foam compresses and no longer gives even coverage, swap in a fresh one rather than buying a whole new applicator.

Pro Tip: Pre-wet the foam pad with product and wring out most of it before starting the main application — this prevents the foam from absorbing too much finish out of the first pass, which can leave that first stroke looking over-applied. A wet-but-not-saturated pad gives the most even first coat.
