Real engineered hardwood — not laminate, not LVP, not a printed surface. Cornell is a genuine oak veneer over a stable multi-ply core, with a wire-brushed texture that emphasizes the natural grain and gives it a tactile authenticity you can feel underfoot. It's the kind of floor that adds real value to a home.

The Ideal Texture Collection is Unifloor's answer to the premium hardwood market — built in a way that performs better than solid hardwood in Canadian climates. The engineered construction is dimensionally more stable across humidity swings, which means it can go over radiant heat and in basements where solid hardwood would be a risk.

Pro Tip: Engineered hardwood can be floated, glued, or stapled/nailed depending on your subfloor situation. Over concrete, glue-down is the most stable method. Over wood subfloors, staple or nail-down gives the most solid feel. Floating works in either situation but can sound slightly hollow if the subfloor isn't perfectly flat. Ask your installer which method is right for your specific situation.

Cornell's natural oak coloration — warm honey tones with natural variation — works across traditional, transitional, and contemporary spaces. It's the floor that makes a room feel grown-up without being stuffy.
