This is a grate-only kit that mounts to a KERDI-DRAIN body already installed in your shower floor (sold separately). The adjustable frame handles tile thicknesses from about 1/8" to 1" and adjusts both vertically and laterally for a flush, gapless finish.

How KERDI-DRAIN grates work

The grate frame uses Schluter's height-adjustment collar and lateral adjustment ring — the drain sits precisely flush with your tile after adjustment, no shimming required. The drain body bonds to the KERDI waterproofing membrane at the bonding flange, sealing the most leak-prone point in a tiled shower: the drain-to-membrane joint.

Pro Tip

The Floral pattern has more open area than the Solid or Classic grates — it flows water just as well but requires a bit more care when cleaning. A soft brush or the removable grate itself in a dishwasher once a month keeps it looking right. Much easier maintenance than it looks.
