The Solid grate kit gives your KERDI-LINE linear drain a clean, continuous stainless steel surface — solid bar construction with a 3/8" reveal above the floor. It's the most substantial-looking finish in the KERDI-LINE grate lineup: no openings, no pattern, just a precise metal line across the shower floor.

This is the grate assembly only — it installs onto a KERDI-LINE channel body already set in the floor (sold separately). The kit includes everything needed to finish the drain opening: the grate cover, frame, and any hardware for the specific channel length you ordered.

Design considerations

The Solid grate works best in contemporary and industrial-style showers where clean lines and metal accents are already part of the design. It's also the easiest to clean — no slots or openings where soap and debris can collect. A quick wipe is all it takes.

If you want the drain to disappear, consider the Tileable grate instead — it lets you set a tile directly on the cover for a nearly invisible drain line. If you want visible texture or pattern, the Square or Style grates offer those options.

Order the grate kit in the same length as your channel body and confirm finish before tiling — it's much easier to swap a grate before tile is set than after. The Solid grate's brushed finish pairs well with brushed nickel or matte hardware; if your fixtures are polished chrome, consider the chrome finish option.
