Pro Tip: Order your shelf at the same time as your tile and Kerdi membrane. The shelf edge profile frames the tile border, so you want to confirm the visual matches before you're mid-install. Also: dry-fit first. Schluter recommends leaving a 2mm gap around the perimeter for grout, and that's easier to get right before the thinset is mixed.
