Old wax and finish buildup on vinyl floors is one of those problems that gets worse the longer you ignore it. The floor looks permanently yellowed, shows every scuff, and doesn't respond to normal cleaning. Armstrong New Beginning strips it back to bare — done right, it prepares the floor for a fresh sealer or finish application.
Formulated specifically for resilient flooring — vinyl sheet, luxury vinyl tile, VCT — it removes multiple layers of old wax or floor finish without damaging the floor underneath.

Pro Tip: Dilute properly — this is a concentrated stripper and using it full-strength wastes product and creates foamy runoff problems. A 1:4 or 1:6 dilution (stripper:water) is right for standard buildup. For thick buildup, go stronger and apply multiple times rather than one undiluted pass. Work in sections and wet-vac up the slurry.
