Cashmere is a warm greige vinyl plank — that balanced mid-tone between grey and beige that photographs well, works with almost any cabinet color, and doesn't read as a trend that dates in three years. The HydroGen 5 platform from Biyork is a solid performer: 5mm total, 20mil wear layer, 100% waterproof, glue-down format for permanent installation.

Pro Tip: Glue-down vinyl needs a flat, clean subfloor — any high spot over 3/16" in 10 feet will telegraph through and create a visible hump. Grind or skim-coat high spots before installing. With glue-down, prep work is where the job is won or lost.
