A reducer handles one of the trickiest transitions in any flooring job: where your vinyl plank meets a lower surface — another floor type, a tile threshold, or a different floor level. The Thormanby Reducer is matched to the Coastal Collection SPC colorway so the transition doesn't look like a contractor grab-bag moment.
- 94" length, cut to size — compatible with Thormanby colorway from the Coastal Collection
- Tapered profile bridges height differences between surfaces cleanly without a visible edge gap
- SPC core — same material as the floor, so it expands and contracts at the same rate
Pro Tip: Reducers need to float — don't glue them solid. Secure with a track system or use construction adhesive sparingly at the center, leaving the ends free to move. If the reducer is glued rigid end-to-end and the floor shifts seasonally, it buckles up in the middle and looks terrible.
