Brazilian Chestnut is one of the richest hardwood species on the planet — known for its deep reddish-brown tones, tight grain pattern, and almost unmatched hardness. The EC Premium Natural Impact laminate captures that look without the price of actual Brazilian Chestnut (or the hardwood flooring's notorious difficulty to install and acclimate).
The Natural Impact collection is a commercial-grade AC4 laminate — built for real foot traffic in homes with kids, pets, and actual life happening. The texture is embossed-in-register, meaning the texture follows the grain pattern rather than being a uniform overlay, which is what makes the difference between laminate that looks fake and laminate that makes guests ask if it's real wood.
Pro Tip: Laminate does not like standing water. It's moisture-resistant at the surface, but prolonged moisture at the joints will eventually cause swelling and delamination. Wipe up spills immediately, and never wet-mop laminate — use a barely damp microfibre mop. Do that and it'll look great for 20 years.
