Pro Tip: Grey hardwood — especially select grade — tends to show glue residue from installation more than warm-toned floors. If your installer uses adhesive (especially for glue-assist on floated floors), make sure it's cleaned up before it cures. A damp cloth on a warm rag works immediately after application. Once it cures, you're stripping it with solvent — and that's a mess you don't want on a premium floor.
