The T-cap is what you use where two floors of the same height meet — doorway thresholds, room-to-room openings, and any expansion break required by the manufacturer. The Toba T-Cap matches the Inlet Collection laminate so the visual break reads as a design detail rather than an awkward gap cover.

Pro Tip: In high-traffic doorways, use a track-mounted T-cap system rather than gluing the profile directly to the subfloor. The track lets the laminate move; gluing it rigid causes the floor to cup or buckle at the transition point — a very common issue in Canadian homes that see wide seasonal humidity swings.
