- 18-gauge 1.5" cleats are the standard fastener for engineered hardwood flooring installation — thin enough not to split thinner engineered planks, yet strong enough to hold the tongue securely for the life of the floor
- Compatible with standard 18-gauge pneumatic flooring nailers; 1.5" length provides adequate bite into plywood subfloors without breaking through the subfloor into the void space below
- 1,200 nails per box; L-cleat profile grips the tongue without damaging the face; use with a 15.5° or 18-gauge flooring nailer; recommended spacing: every 6–8" along each plank
