A pro-grade adhesive trowel for spreading flooring adhesive and thinset with a clean, consistent notch. Quality stainless steel blade that holds its edge through repeated cleaning, with a comfortable soft-grip handle.
Choosing a notch size
- 1/4" x 1/4" notch: small tile and mosaics
- 1/4" x 3/8" notch: vinyl plank, LVT and small-to-medium tile
- 1/2" x 1/2" notch: 12" x 24" and larger format tile
Pro tip: For large format tile (18" or more in either dimension), go one trowel size up from what you think you need. Mortar collapses about 50% when the tile is pressed in, and the TCNA standard is 80% coverage on walls and 95% on floors. Clean your trowel while the adhesive is still wet, since hardened thinset destroys the notch profile.
