Description
A pre-fabricated waterproof shower curb made from KERDI-BOARD — replaces wood or mortar curbs that take time to build and are prone to water damage. Set it in thin-set, seal joints with KERDI-BAND, and tile over it like the rest of the shower.
- Extruded polystyrene (XPS) construction — fully waterproof through the entire curb, not just surface-treated. Integrates directly into your Schluter shower assembly
- Pre-shaped to standard shower curb dimensions — no floating mortar, no curing time, no separate waterproofing step
- Seal to the shower tray and wall assembly with KERDI-BAND in thin-set for a continuous waterproof envelope from floor to ceiling
Pro tip: Set the curb at the same time as the shower tray so you can seal both joints in one pass with KERDI-BAND. A wood curb behind tile is the number one reason showers fail at the threshold — this eliminates that risk entirely.
