Description
Description
Replacement strainer grate for Schluter KERDI-DRAIN point drains. This is the visible cover piece that sits at floor level — the part you actually see after the tile is installed. It snaps into the KERDI-DRAIN body and is removable for cleaning.
Strainers come in different finishes and sizes to match your drain assembly. Make sure you're matching the correct diameter and style to your existing KERDI-DRAIN body. The 4" round grate is the most common residential size.
When to order
- Replacement: Damaged, discolored, or lost strainer from an existing KERDI-DRAIN installation
- Upgrade: Swapping the strainer style or finish without replacing the entire drain body
- New build: You're assembling a KERDI-DRAIN from components rather than buying a complete kit
Installation
- The strainer snaps into the KERDI-DRAIN body — no tools, no adhesive
- It sits at the tile surface level (or just below)
- Remove for periodic cleaning — hair and debris collect on the underside
- The strainer is NOT the waterproofing component — that's the bonding flange sealed with KERDI-BAND
