Pipes through a waterproofed surface are one of the most common places for moisture to sneak in. KERDI-KM solves that with a pre-cut KERDI membrane collar sized specifically to seal around standard pipe penetrations.
The collar bonds directly to your KERDI or KERDI-BOARD substrate using unmodified thin-set, creating a continuous waterproof seal around the pipe. No field-cutting membrane, no guesswork about sealing a difficult round penetration.
Where this gets used: Shower valve bodies, tub spouts, shower heads coming through a tiled wall — anywhere a pipe or fitting punches through your waterproofing layer.
Pro Tip: The pre-cut collar opening is sized for standard pipe dimensions — always check the pipe OD against the collar before ordering. For mixing valve bodies and larger penetrations, Schluter also makes the KERDI-PIPE-SEAL series. The KM collar is best for straightforward pipe pass-throughs.
