Pro Tips

• The tray can be trimmed with a utility knife if your alcove is slightly off from the standard 38" × 60" — but work carefully and test-fit before cutting
• Overlap the KERDI membrane 2" minimum at every seam, and always use KERDI-BAND at the floor-to-wall transition — that joint is the #1 leak point in DIY showers
• Order your drain before you start — you need to know the drain body height to set the tray at the right elevation
• Use unmodified mortar (Schluter SET) to tile over the tray — modified mortars can interfere with adhesion to the membrane surface
