Description
QUADEC-FS is a double-rail feature strip for accent bands and chair rails in wall tile. Its 2" (51 mm) recessed face has dovetailed grooves where you bond accent tile up to 5/16" (8 mm) thick and 2" wide, framed by square edges that line up with QUADEC.
It anchors in the bond coat by its shape and can also be fastened to the wall. For thicker field tile, build up setting material behind the profile, and leave a 1/16" to 1/8" joint to the tile.
Anodized aluminum gives an even metallic finish for indoor work. It is not color-stable outdoors and the face can scratch, so wipe mortar and grout off the visible surface right away.
Each length is 8' 2-1/2" (2.5 m).
