Description
RENO-T is a T-shaped transition for two hard floors at the same height: tile, stone, hardwood, laminate or pavers. It sets into the joint between them and its top overlaps both edges, protecting them where traffic crosses.
Set it with an elastomeric sealant such as KERDI-FIX in a clean joint at least 3/8" (9 mm) deep, and pick the width so the cross-piece is supported on both sides. It suits retrofit work because neither floor has to come up. The 17/32" (14 mm) width in brass and anodized aluminum can flex sideways to follow a curve.
Anodized aluminum gives an even metallic finish for indoor work. It is not color-stable outdoors and the face can scratch, so wipe mortar and grout off the visible surface right away.
Each length is 8' 2-1/2" (2.5 m).
