Description
RONDEC-STEP finishes the front edge of tiled countertops and stairs with the same 1/4" rounded top as RONDEC. Its 2-1/4" (57 mm) vertical leg drops over the edge of a deeper build-up or the top of the riser, so no raw edge shows.
Pick the height by the tile thickness and the leg by the thickness of the build-up. The profile anchors in the thin-set with a trapezoid-perforated leg and has a built-in spacer for a 1/16" to 1/8" joint. On stairs, Schluter rates it for residential stairs with light foot traffic.
Anodized aluminum gives an even metallic finish for indoor work. It is not color-stable outdoors and the face can scratch, so wipe mortar and grout off the visible surface right away.
Each length is 8' 2-1/2" (2.5 m).
