Description
SCHIENE-BASIC is the basic version of Schluter's SCHIENE finishing profile, without the built-in joint spacer. It finishes and protects the edge of tile or other rigid coverings.
The trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg presses into the tile adhesive, and the head is squared off at a right angle. Leave a joint of about 1/16" (1.5 mm) between profile and tile, and on floors set the profile level with the tile or up to 1/32" (1 mm) below it.
Anodized aluminum gives an even metallic finish for indoor work. It is not color-stable outdoors and the face can scratch, so wipe mortar and grout off the visible surface right away.
Available in lengths of 8' 2-1/2" (2.5 m) and 9' (2.75 m).
