Description
The Wave pattern on SHELF-W adds a gentle ripple texture — more tactile interest than Pure, softer than Square. It reads as spa-like without being a caricature of it.
Like all SHELF-W models, installation happens during tile-setting: anchor legs embed in the adhesive bed, the tile laps up to the shelf edges, and you end up with a shelf that looks like it grew out of the wall.
Where Wave works best: Spa-inspired bathrooms, natural stone tiles, organic and coastal design directions. The undulating pattern picks up on the visual language of water and movement — fitting for a wet space.
Material note: All Schluter shelves are anodized aluminum. They won't rust, corrode, or discolor in a permanently humid shower environment. The anodizing is integrated into the metal — not a coating that chips or peels over time.
Pro Tip: In a shower with heavy steam (steam showers, especially), avoid shelving materials that can delaminate or absorb moisture. Schluter's aluminum shelves are one of the few options that genuinely hold up long-term in those conditions without maintenance issues.
