There's a right way and a wrong way to add storage to a tile shower. The wrong way is a wire caddy that rusts and falls over. The right way is a Schluter® SHELF built directly into your tile installation — waterproof, flush, and permanent.
This is the SHELF TRIANGULAR CORNER WAVE: a compact triangle that tucks flush into a 90° corner, with a gently undulating wave edge detail — artsy without being loud. It installs using the same Schluter Kerdi waterproofing system you're likely already using, meaning it bonds directly into your shower wall with zero risk of water intrusion.
The WAVE edge gives you subtle movement in the profile that adds character without dominating. Because it's covered in tile — yours, matching your wall — it integrates completely rather than looking bolted on.
Pro Tip: Order your shelf at the same time as your tile and Kerdi membrane. The shelf edge profile frames the tile border, so you want to confirm the visual matches before you're mid-install. Also: dry-fit first. Schluter recommends leaving a 2mm gap around the perimeter for grout, and that's easier to get right before the thinset is mixed.
Installation note: Apply Kerdi-Fix around the perimeter after tiling the shelf for a fully waterproof seal. Don't skip this step — it's what separates a permanent installation from a future leak.
